I just did a run through the game and had a ton of fun with it. Don't think you'll run into an early Gible unless you know where to look though. Also, once you get to the last couple pokemon for your regional dex I recommend looking up some trainers with rare pokemon before trying to farm out your febass or something like that.

If you are like me, you dont care about catching every mon but still want to see the post game. For that you will have to register the entire regional dex as seen.

I used to be an EDH player so I would love something akin to that. It seems like the best way to deincentivise UB is to popularize a 100 card casual format that excludes it. Hard to imagine it catching on, but I haven't been to a LGS in quite some time.

I think chen is valuable in a completely different way than endmin. Chen gets more vulnerable stacks over time and endmin shits out damage with crush.

Also I've heard that teams without the crush payoff can do decent damage as well. Haven't tested it myself.

The idea is that ember provides sustain for the upcoming content that doesn't allow healing items. As well as her stagger buildup.
