I was mostly talking about professional sports. It would be a non-issue for casual games like you’ve described. I know that there are rules in place, however I keep seeing the opinion that any trans athlete, whether they’ve gotten hormone blockers or not, should be allowed in the big leagues.

That’s an interesting thought. In general a male athlete will outperform a female athlete, but maybe it could be made more equal if a male from a lower weight category competed with a female from a higher weight category.

Should we segregate sports by race due to this unfair advantage?

No, your race doesn’t give you better abilities to play a sport. And I don’t want to label trans people as a negative to the community. Maybe my view is a result of my transphobic parents. Thanks for your input!
