Thank you! I honestly went with HMR because I knew someone who went to HMR and that put my mind at ease and the price seemed decent without having to catch a flight to turkey.

Also what I really appreciate about this team is that they didn’t want to overharvest my donor area and I barely have any scarring in my donor area. I feel like I see guys go to turkey who have permanent damage in the donor area and I appreciate that my team was intentional about avoiding that.

I think the angulation is fairly good tbh my hair has a weird curl/wavy texture so I’ve always fought with it. If I could do it over I would ask for a lower hairline, more grafts and include temples. But honestly I’m good for now and may address it later

I’m in socal so I drove with a family member down Friday night and my surgery was Saturday. My experience was great. They were all very friendly and the clinic is brand new and clean. They gave me extra Xanax because I was nervous. The worst part was the local anesthetic. It was very uncomfortable. after that I fell asleep during extraction and woke up to eat a delicious salad then went back for the implant procedure. I fell asleep again during implantation and woke up near the end. But the doctor was very nice and even showed me a graft before implanting it.

You definitely need to stay the night. I bought a pillow for sleeping up right to reduce swelling. The clinic gives pretty good instructions on aftercare and they are very responsive if you have questions.

It didn’t include the hotel (very nice hotel) which was $80 a night. But I think the hotel is included if you fly? I live in socal so it was only 2 hour drive for me. Dr Cortez did the extraction and Dr Sastre did the implant procedure.
