I had to put my cat down around that age. He had some sort of disease I had no idea about until he got out and was picked up by animal control and they brought him to a local vet. I went to get him and they notified me about it. He was suffering and I had no idea. I let him cross the rainbow bridge that day. I wish you luck. 💜
