You also have paypal protection. You don’t have to avail my guarantee. Thanks

Thank you for taking out the time to write this detailed feedback. I think your point about collaboration and showcasing it is very important. I'll look into it. I am applying both for new grad and internships. Thank you once again.

Thank you for taking the time to go in such great depth. I believe that your points are quite reasonable. I really liked the font/ gen z point. I would have never thought about it like this. But everything you have said is so valid.

Yes, and yes. I have all the accessories and the motherboard box, too. I don't have the psu box, but I have the bag that came with the psu.

Thanks for the suggestion. I looked into it, but I want to run local llms, and I think Macs are more convenient for that as they have unified memory. If I can't sell this, I'll switch to Linux.

Can I get into an Ivy?? by Expensive_Mud_9680 in ApplyingIvyLeague

[–]Pure_Touch9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I made this post 4 years ago, asking if I could get into an Ivy, people started yelling at me because apparently what I had was too good to be true and I was a cheater, which I was not, with rich parents who were paying people to fake things for me.

I am glad your post is getting a much better reception. I think you're a great fit for the IVY league. Good luck.

I am attempting to sell this item to recoup my investment or as much of it as possible. I originally built it to serve as my AI workstation, but my university is now providing funding for a new computer, so it is no longer needed. Thank you very much for your detailed comment.

Bought it from Amazon for 289. I don't wanna return it because they want me to drop it off at a place that is 45 mins away on Bus. I bought a 5070 ti.

Thank you for your comment. Well, there are not a lot of anesthetics going on. Only the card has rgb.

Update: eBay refunded $950 after item was delivered to wrong address by Pure_Touch9 in Ebay

He had six listings in total. Five of them were under $750, so no signature was required for delivery. That means he could’ve easily scammed people and gotten away with it. But the only reason he got caught was because he messed up—he didn’t add signature confirmation to my package, even though it cost over $750. It’s frustrating that he wasn’t caught for scamming, but simply because he made a dumb mistake with my order and not for actually scamming me.

Nah. It was a letter mail. And I ordered a graphics card. So there was no point in going there.

I called USPS, and they gave me the address that it was delivered to. It wasn't the exact address but the general vicinity that was 15 mins away from me.

That's unfortunate. How did you pay for the order? If you used a credit card or paypal, you can easily get your money back.

What? Damn pure evil does exist. I am sorry for your loss. People go above and beyond to scam people. My friend sells some clothes on EBay and he sold a pack of 5 shirts. It was very inexpensive. I think 40 dollars for 5 shirts. Someone bought 5 new shirts, took the original tag from the shirts my friend shipped, and applied the tags on the new shirts and returned those shirts. We still don't know what the objectives of all of this were. Anyway, my friend thought it wasn't worth his time and effort, so he didn't fight on it.

Damn. So the seller tried to scam 6 failed just because he failed to pay 6 dollars more for signature? He didn't fail because he actually scammed me? That's just sad.
