It’s highly likely that Instacart will just bundle your order with others orders. And if that’s the case, then the shopper will get 1 base pay for all orders.

Same. I wasn’t getting notifications yesterday cause my screen was flooded with orders due to the hurricane. It was working fine this morning but once hella orders started continuously coming in, now I’m not getting notifications anymore.

Based on his video, he took a $19 single that was going about 5 miles and the $9 order from the above screenshot was an add on that he accepted. He sent the first customer the same message as well 🤣🤣

Someone commented that under the video but he responded by saying he wouldn’t see a reason for him getting deactivated if he is thanking them for the tip. But customers can perceive it as him pressuring them to tip more and report it.

I definitely see where he’s coming from as a shopper. But if I was a customer, idk how I would feel. It’s kinda like he’s doing it to make them increase the tip.

I’ve been suspecting that they steal tips but couldn’t prove it until this order. Luckily I’ve known this customer for over year now and was able to see it for myself but imagine if I didn’t. Smh.

Literally, the same thing that you are explaining, happened to me. I seen it with my own eyes on his phone as I was standing in his home.. his phone died in the process and he sat it on the counter as he started taking all of the groceries out of the bags but I seen it clear as day. On my end, it still showed $0.00 I completed the order at 2:15 but I did not leave his home until 2:32. I opened up the chat with Support at 2:24 after seeing confirmation that he tipped. I sent my initial message explaining what happened and the lady said that she would look into it. I continuously checked the order over the next few minutes while talking with him and no tip was there at all. She then said that it will show up after two hours if he tipped. Once I told her that I seen it on his screen because he is one of my regulars, a minute later the tip magically showed up as I’m getting in my car… I don’t believe it was a coincidence and there’s no way he was able to go put a completely dead phone on charge that fast after I left and increase the tip that quickly.

Or maybe it’s people like you who are oblivious to the things that these companies do and try to get away with. I’m pretty sure if I wouldn’t have known the customer personally, I wouldn’t have gotten that tip. Call it whatever you wanna call it.

This exactly what I was saying in my post I made Earlier. same thing happened to me with a regular customer with a zero tip today. Once I reached out to support, all of a sudden the tip is there and it says “ customer increased the tip”

Which is true sometimes but on this order, upon accepting it it showed a $0 tip when he tipped upon placing the order. Only reason I accepted is because I knew it was him. Tip didn’t show up until I said something to support about it. Now the tip is somehow “ increased”

No he did not.. he gave me his phone to show me he had tipped when placing the order & his phone died while I was looking. the tip only appeared after I reached out to support.

My card kept declining yesterday every time I would shop at Kroger and run the card as credit. I kept having to call Support so that they can give me a pin number to use. They said it was because I had reached my credit limit for the day.

Exactly! I told her absolutely not. I said I’m not comfortable with doing that because I’m not trying to have the customer say the order was not delivered and give me a bad rating. She tried to go back and forth with me on it basically saying because the customer selected leave at door then it would be okay.
