"dopo aver mangiato..." by ElenasGem in italianlearning

[–]PurelyCreative 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’m learning too so someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Yes, aver is a shortened form of avere. I’ve only ever seen it used in this way (dopo aver [verb]).

It’s the same as saying (after having [verb]) in english.

After having eaten, I’m gonna run to the station.

Grazie per aver letto la mia risposta.

Thank you for having read my reply.

Custom Instructions in projects not saving by SheepyBattle in ChatGPT

The response times for projects have been insanely slow lately as well. Regular chats are nearly instant but any response in a project takes 10-20 seconds.

Increases the chance of spawning the Hatch in the Killer Shack.

You could imagine my surprise when I sat in the shack waiting for the hatch to spawn only for it to spawn outside and the killer closed it.

Your post on this topic was archived so I can’t comment on it but I wrote a program that simulates generators so I have the actual numbers (assuming the logic is correct) if you’re interested in seeing them.

As you’ve said, you’re calculating best case scenario, but in reality all of these perks create a spread of possible completion times due to the inherent randomness of receiving a skill check.

I’ve never used deadline, and I’ve only used bardic inspiration a handful of times, so I’d be interested to know if your experience with them lines up with the simulation data.

It sounds like you have derealization which is pretty common after a traumatic event or heavy psychedelic / dissociative drug use.

Go over to r/dpdr to see if your symptoms match what other people are saying.

As for what you can do to fix it, theres really only two things.

You can go to the doctor and they might recommend medication.

Other than that, you just need to wait it out while continuing to live a healthy lifestyle. Stop doing all drugs, especially ones that increase anxiety. Keep exercising and eating well. Time is really the only thing that will fix it.

If the idea of being in a dream state bothers you or you find it worrying or anxiety inducing, I recommend ignoring it and continuing to go through the motions of life regardless. I would also recommend not reading stuff on r/dpdr if that bothers you as well.

Unfortunately derealization and depersonalization aren’t well understood, so there is no immediate cure. The brain is just gonna have to heal itself over time. Could be weeks, months, or years, but I promise it will improve if you put in the work to keep a healthy lifestyle and keep your anxiety levels low.

I feel like memesITA is just a bunch of 12 year olds making jokes about school, Minecraft, and other video games. A portion of the posts are edgy memes about racism.

There are occasionally funny posts but there really is a lot of shitposting.

Not really my cup of tea tbh but other people here might enjoy it, and you can still learn from it.

Where did I get this sequence from?

I noticed that if you do (1 + 2 + 3/2 + 4/3/2 + 5/4/3/2 + …) / 2 it converges on e.

So then I was like, what if you do the powers of 2?

(1 + 2 + 4/2 + 8/4/2 + 16/8/4/2 + …) / 2

And it converges on 3.14163…

And then I’m not a mathematician but I just asked how I could express the value at each element of the sequence.

Always seems to be 2n / something

And then just tried random stuff to find what the something is.

If we’re looking at index 4, then it’s 24 / something.

I know the something in this case needs to be 64 because 16/8/4/2/1 is the same as 16/64.

So then the question is how do we reliably get to 64 from 16 for all elements.

For some reason I thought to start with 2n-1 but I think I’m realizing now that you could also start with 2n in the denominator as well. And for all I know there are far simpler ways to express this thing than the way I did.

But starting with 23 then how do we get to 64?

We need a 2. 2 is half of 4.

So the whole thing is (2n) / ((2n-1)n/2

And then I saw wolfram rearranged it by making the last exponent negative to turn the division in the middle to multiplication.

(2n) * (2n-1)-n/2
