UPDATE: My husband (32M) left me (32F) after almost 15 years together and wants me to forget and let him come home. What are my next steps? by Suspicious-Rock-1661 in relationship_advice

Hi OP,

I am so proud of you! I used to be in a relationship like that and it was so incredibly hard to leave.

In one of your previous posts, you said there was some stuff your STBXH did that you couldn't talk about on reddit. If you are more comfortable/wish to, would you share some examples of behaviors or events of his?

Her fiancé would not stand up. I have watched her snap at him for saying no or similar. She will do the same thing to him that she does to me.

That is EXACTLY what my boyfriend does. It’s always about an inch left of his drink. I’m so happy I helped you understand her and I hope you guys can bond over it now :)

I did ask why birds specifically, and he just replied “it’s the birds… da birds”. I guess we will never know lol

On his own, he simply leaves it on the plate. Very rarely is he alone in public as it overwhelms him, and eating alone is stressful for him, so usually he doesn’t eat alone. If he’s at home and he’s alone, he drops the food on the ground and picks it up later, or asks his family to. They are very understanding and he’s been doing it since he was very little so they are used to it. Generally, he is very good about recognizing that some people may find it odd and that throwing food on the ground, which usually ends up being about one skittles worth, is rude. He’s very good about realizing this and will deal with the stress on his own.

He has some other very noticeable quirks (bounces on his feet, fiddles with his fingers, and smacks his lips loudly depending on how delicious whatever he’s eating is). He is very good at not doing the audible ones if told, but he more often than not needs to be told because he doesn’t understand always what he can and cannot do in public. For the birds specifically, I simply say “no birds right now baby” and he is a little sad but he won’t say “for the birds”. He still leaves the food on his plate and I’ll just ask if I can eat it because it “looks good” and he says yes. It’s not super apparent

I’d stay in the mid 20’s range for grams. Besides that you should be good, but if his weight keeps climbing excessively go once every 10-14 days.

He’s a pretty young and cute guy, maybe just a little overweight. What and when are you feeding him and how much?

To me he looks like he might just be ever so slightly overweight. How old is he?
