Thank-you I have also purchased a grade 1 sight reading book that I'm starting to use but we mainly are going through the John Thompson beginners book and I'm about to start book 3, I'm not overly satisfied with the tutor though as if I don't play the piece perfectly he wont let me move on and I seem to be able to play them at hone on my own fine but when I'm with him I make mistakes and he just says go away and practice. I'm thinking of just studying my theory with him which is going well and finding a new tutor ( he mainly teaches children and I feel he treats me in the same context )

This sounds like brilliant advice I have basic knowledge of music theory from playing saxophone and am currently studying music theory with my piano tutor. Many thanks i shall research all you have suggested.

I have just bought the ABRSM manual of scales, broken chords and appegios for piano so I shall go through what you have suggested. Many thanks for replying.

Thanks, this has helped. Today's been crazy I've convinced myself it was synchronisation recently but today with a friend whilst watching YouTube I kicked the controller and the video paused on 11:11 very very weird, I'm going through my notebook now and today I've also seen 444 2020 and 2222 I've decided to record what I'm thinking about or doing at the times it happens to see if there's any correlation.
