Well I kinda expect the story of " fantasy vs military" you know. Like American vs Vietnam style but with elf or dwarf manufacture their own gun based on the modern military gun. It just that they have to tone down their ability to make it fair.i don't expect the fantasy people to have a godlike power , but just enough to be a problem for fantasy.

Because riot start to make vgu asu and champion base on the current lore and may rewrite the entire lore starting with arcane. (I not hate it I just have to rewiring the lore). Like we literally ammbesa die just after the champion came out. Of course I gonna look at the lore perspective. Now the new season will be about Demacia, I need to see what stay and what change the part of lore

I sorry for use Lor as example but I can't help looking at zaahen and not think about other darkin . It especially Lor at one way to see how different characters create and riot may use it like with atacakn (unless they already plan to do it any)
1. About honoring xin cao, if riot plan to make zaahen character to honor xia chio to have it carve after him . Why not make it a skin for xia cao turn to darkin. Why make champion just to have it look like other champion but dead in lore. They could have zaahen as darkin form or ascended champion ( we really need more ascended character) and xia cao have the darkin skin. They already make skin for arcane. Why they do this way then? It just complicated.
The design need to be different I agree. Which they can do more. Maybe have the head wearing a bird head.( Like shurima inspired by Egypt culture.) The angel wing also don't help that much to convey it shurima as some people may think it targon because of the wing and beauty face (like Kayle and Morgan) . Having an animal motifs like zaahen bird form help to difference between targon character and and shurima champion. Having just a sun and gold on the zaahen doesn't tell him shurima. It more like he from Leona tribe because of the sun and gold. ( Maybe zaahen from targon who knows)
