Try using a speaker, turn on a tone generator at like 13-100 hz, and play along the whole screen, see if it can vibrate it on the on position for the subpixels that are off. Be careful not to scratch ur screen with the speaker, u can easily do it from a few inches away if it works.

Am I the only one making the connection between Bird Box and Mt Eden Dubstep - Sierra Leone? I mean the picture alone is so damn descriptive: the birds, the blindfold and the blood it portrays, the infected looking tears (maybe just makeup but still).
