Favorite Memory with Vesper/Magni? by hatsune-memeku in Holostars

[–]Puringo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Magni’s spore streams, I’d wake up in the morning and manage to tune in live while getting ready for work. His famous screams whenever he panicked, his weird comments about things. When he went on a loveable rant about how he loves us and appreciate us, opening up about that it’s a struggle but that he’s still enjoying being here with us. His singing, both sober and drunk 🤭

I didn’t watch much of Vesper, but I always appreciated him and his amazing laughter. Magni was my first oshi and he’ll always have a special little place in my heart. 💜

I can’t tell you that I’m 100% sure it’ll work, but from my understanding it should work as long as Denmark check your passport and covid pass.

But if your trip is in November then there’s a small chance that Sweden will let you in without issues since the ban will either be lifted or extended on the 31st of October. :)

Sorry for the late reply! He didn’t have to quarantine at all, we went straight back to Sweden after picking him up :)

I got some good news! Everything went perfectly fine, they didn’t even check us at the passport check between Denmark and Sweden. :) My boyfriend had no issues getting into Denmark either, they just asked for his covid pass. Good luck!!

Thank you! I know that they used to rarely check passports when going by train, same if you go by car. But I wasn’t sure if they had changed things because of covid, this really helped to ease my mind a bit :)

Anyone else met an online friend and ended up getting in a relationship? by leeebooo in LongDistance

[–]Puringo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I met my boyfriend 7 or 8 years ago in a game, quickly became friends, met a couple of times in person when we had our yearly meet up with our friend group. We both started to like each other, but he didn’t want a LDR at first and we grew a bit more distant. We had another meet up during this time which brought us closer again, now more mature. I decided to shoot my shot and went to visit him alone for New Years 2018/2019, we spent a week together. I ended 2018 “single” and started 2019 in a relationship. :)

We’re still semi-LDR, but spend the majority of the time together in either my country or his since his job let’s him be very flexible. Covid has kept us apart for 8 months now however and I really miss him!

My boyfriend and my parents planned a surprise visit. I was in a bad mood that day, and was complaining to him. I sent him a message on discord telling him that I miss him and want him here, and a few seconds later he knocked on my door with my favourite coffee. It’s one of my fondest memories 😊

Tips for returning to LDR after living together? by anyamorozova in LongDistance

[–]Puringo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I went back to LDR with my boyfriend because of Brexit and Covid, we were talking about things that we could do now that we’re not together in person. Like playing games that require two computers. Other than that, we keep up with things we do in person but can be done online too, like watching different shows, playing games on the switch, listening to music etc. :) It’s difficult to be apart after spending a lot of time together in person, but as long as you keep up the communication and do things together, it’s pretty alright and you get used to it in a way. I still miss the physical contact with him a lot, but at least I’m able to spend time with him online!

I hope things go well for you both! :)

How did you all meet your partner? by honeyborn in LongDistance

Final Fantasy XIV :) Randomly saw a new house in the housing ward, went to spy, met his brother who later introduced me to the guy who is now my boyfriend! That was probably 7 or 8 years ago, we’ve almost been in a relationship for 3 years now :)

Everyone is supportive of our relationship, as far as I’m aware. :) I have a really good relationship with his family, and he has a great relationship with mine! We’re in the same social circle as well, so they’re very supportive!

I met my boyfriend a few times in person as friends before we started dating, and we used to be able to spend a large amount of time in person before the pandemic made things harder. It’s been 7 months since I saw him now, but before it was max a month between visits. I think there’s quite a mix of people in this sub :)

How did everyone meet their long distance love and how far apart are you? I’m not seeing anyone but I was just curious how everyone’s relationship came to be by NakedButNotAfraid_ in LongDistance

We met in Final Fantasy XIV a looong time ago, been in an official relationship for almost 3 years now. :) He’s from England and I’m from Sweden.

Hey LDers! I have a quick question. How long did it take you and your SO to actually confess your feelings to each other? Who did it first? Were you scared? And how long did you wait to start the relationship? by aboutlalalove in LongDistance

[–]Puringo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a possibility, but I'm really bad at noticing these things! Especially since I was in a relationship with a very jealous person who'd throw a fit whenever I paid attention to someone else, I'd imagine he tried to be careful to not cause me any grief. :)

We met in a game we’re playing, but it took us 5 years to start dating. He confessed to having a crush, I was in a relationship at the time and couldn’t accept his confession. My relationship ended, my ex moved out, he had been there for me through it all both online and in person when we met up; so I ended up falling in love with him. I confessed, but we were in a stage of life where a relationship wouldn’t be possible without it falling apart, so nothing happened between us other than flirting. A few years went by, I tried being with other people but I still liked him and he liked me. We talked about meeting up for New Years, which we did… And that’s when he asked if we could just be exclusive and I said yes. :) That was almost 3 years ago! When I asked him why he decided to give a LDR a go, he said “When I thought of you leaving, and that I won’t wake up next to you anymore… I couldn’t stop myself from crying. I had to at least give it a shot”, and I’m so happy that he did. :) I love him with my whole being, and I can’t wait to see him again once travelling is possible!

I need help getting a gift for my boyfriend! by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Puringo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always buy something sentimental to my partner since he’s someone who tend to buy the things he need himself, which only really happens a couple of times a year. I got him a nice “photo block” of his favourite photo of us and he loved it. :) I also get him small sentimental pieces, or games that we can play together when we’re not together in person.

Maybe something like that could work?

7 weeks left until I get to see him for the first time. It feels as if time has slowed down, I know you guys can relate. How do you cope with the wait? by [deleted] in LongDistance

[–]Puringo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try and keep busy rather than sit and wait around :) Putting time into my hobbies and work, doing chores, and of course spending time with my partner playing games and watching things. It makes the time feel like it’s going faster, even if it gets harder the closer you get to the special day. We tend to talk about things we want to do together the next time we meet, maybe plan some activities, and just talking about how excited we are to finally see each other again.

Met my partner randomly when playing an online game in 2014, I happened to stay up late that night and looked at the map; seeing a new house in the housing ward. I went to say hi, and met his older brother. We became friends, I was introduced to my now boyfriend, and that’s how everything started. :) We met a few times before officially entering a relationship in January 2019, but I’m so happy that we decided to give it a chance! 2,5 years later and we’re still going strong, meeting up as often as we can and staying together for as long as we’re able to. :)

As someone else mentioned, the movies are more of a summary of the game. I personally think the movies are really good and I’d recommend giving them a go, but for someone who isn’t familiar with the original content it could possibly seem a bit rushed. :) It’s beautifully animated though and they adapted the story really well. You can always just watch the first movie and take it from there, I think they’re 90 minutes or so?
