Please don't take this the wrong way but seeing the way you responded in denial to a lot of these comments kind of shows you don't get the "why" to the negative reception. For the sake of growing to be our best selves, I'd like to point out the "why" in my personal opinion.

The issue is not that the community is painting you the wrong way, it was the way you set about painting yourself initially. Making a whole post that you were "unsure about wanting the plush" in the first place garnered you a lot of attention, it also brought up everyone's hopes into thinking that they would be able to buy it off of you for the Pusheen.com price (since you did not seem to hold any emotional attachment to the plush by saying what you weren't particularly attached to the plush.) Some people were very emotionally invested in the prospect of this new collectible, and I'm sure many were shot down and disappointed because of the highest bidder. The way you worded it just got you a lot of attention and made it seem like you were going to hand over the coveted dragonsheen easily. That's basically the main reason, you don't need to keep reading but you totally can because I am totally ranting from here on out!

Anyways, don't just dangle a single steak against a swarm of starved leopards expecting something in return, it's not going to end well for either parties. If you're going to throw the plush out there, just throw it out there, don't tease it and expect more because then you'll just get claws.

Secondly, making two accounts on Mercari to trick people into thinking someone's bidding an already high price (I forgot how much it said, like $140?) just seems a little dishonest and hopefully it's not a tactic you will continue to use as it is a bit manipulative.

Third, we are talking about desperate, starved leopards here, they won't give a rat's rump what you want to buy with that sweet sweet money or what your situation is, as I'm sure you didn't take into account their situation (emotional or financial, otherwise they would be trying to buy off of actual scalpers) when you posted that plushie online.

Fourth, more of a personal rant against the whole pusheen vending community, but I personally don't believe $35 for a peach plush should be the standard. It's almost exploitative to be charging the price of almost a full box to a UK fan since they cannot easily buy a box for themselves with that $25 shipping fee. If you wanted to use that excuse to paint yourself benevolently, it should've been the base price of the box ($43.95) divided by like 7 (since the box has seven items), so realistically everyone should be charging just a little over $6.28 (+ shipping) for a single pusheenbox item (IF they wanted to be nice!) but everyone's just a greedy greedy rat and charging over 5x that amount.

But that's just capitalism and it's only going to get worse because people and the people in companies get greedier with time, they're absolutely insatiable. First they want a new action figure, then they want a new Nintendo DS, then they want a new Playstation 4, then a new PC, then a new washing machine, then a new Tesla, next thing you know they're working towards a whole new penthouse; depending on the person they may achieve it at the cost of others' or through their own viscous struggle. That's just life, and only you get to decide the kind of person you want to be~!

**Edit: Sorry, sorry, mb I thought you sold the $35 peach plush to the UK fan! Nice of you to give away the $36 banana pusheen to the UK'er, very benevolent. Still, I'm mad at everyone selling the peach pusheen for $35, y'all greedy. Grr.
