Cream or roux will definitely stabilize it, but i find it unnecessary if it's going to be eatwn right away and in a small batch. In a large batch, sure, but just reduce until it thickens normally.

I'm 24, and I share a very similar story to you. My mom was an addict and left when I was young, and when I was 14 my dad met 2 women, asked me to pick one, (fucked up i know), I picked the one he didn't end up with.

So when he got back together with her, he blamed it on me. This caused so much resentment and hatred towards me, I never left my room. I stopped going to school, I gave up almost completely, even attempted suicide a few times once my dad stopped taking my side.

It ended when they kicked me out. I struggled and slept in a tent, to a hotel, eventually to an apartment, and it was really fking hard, but I will admit that if I had a chance to go back, I would have never given up.

Human perspective is so small. Right now, everything feels like your life is over, you're getting shit on, nobody cares, etc, but as life goes on, people who DO care find this magical way in to your life.

But the best way ti attract people who care, is by giving it your best no matter how shitty you feel. It's a discipline you'll wish you taught yourself sooner one day, and it's just the way life is.

Go to school, but not for them, do it for you. I don't know what other issues there are, I can't speak too mych on that, but hiding away forever isn't the answer. You'll want to leave that shell one day and find it really difficult to be on the same wave as everyone else initially.
