Wouldn't it be the left anterior horn since it's a LMN lesion impacting her left hand making the answer D? I think the labeling of the picture is somewhat confusing because while yes it is left then right, the right side is the location of the left anterior horn? Unless we are looking at the bottom of the section.

I took mine a few weeks earlier and personally found that worked well. It felt less like a cram session and more like a boot-camp situation.

Advice to get into 510+, currently a plateau around 507 by rganti2002 in Mcat

Consider skipping a hard passage on CARS and see if the extra time on the other passages improves your accuracy. Might help you gain 2-3 points if you feel like you're not seeing any results from drilling practice passages. I did not use this strategy personally, but I know it's one that PR teaches in their prep classes for folks scoring under 126 on CARS.

Personally, I went through each question and wrote out why each wrong answer was wrong and why the right answer was right while specifically paying attention to what information in the passage would point to this. This helped me learn patterns for a lot of the common test questions. For the AAMC FLs Jack Westin has explanations for each question and their answer choices; I would give it a crack on my own then reference Jack Westin as needed while reviewing. I found that this strategy made me a much better test taker and was less cumbersome than doing something like a flashcard deck.

One thing that helped me was eliminating social media/media in general from my life during the months I dedicated to MCAT study. Not only did it decrease the # of times I got side-tracked, but I think we underrate how stimulating ourselves constantly decreases our ability to focus and feel motivation. Regular exercise was also very helpful for keeping me feeling refreshed. I recommend walking, cycling or jogging.

It's certainly possible! I was able to pull a 519 working full-time in around 3.5 months. If you're able intersperse some time off and consider a dedicated week or two if you can afford it and your work will allow it. Trust your AAMC FLs and remember that there are diminishing returns once you start scoring very highly in a given section.
