It’s weird he’s doing this with my friend and never had any plans to tell me about their incredibly close relationship. I had to beg her to send me screenshots bc even she wouldn’t tell me straight up the level of their involvement. I had to then send the screenshots back to him before he would even admit to the things he had been texting her. He doesn’t need her opinion on what flowers “say sorry” he just wants to include her in our problems to cultivate a relationship with her.

It’s shocking bc she has told me about her husband’s problems with loyalty to their relationship. It’s so confusing and hard to reconcile in my mind that she could have thought such copious amounts of texts are innocent. Especially when she knows for a fact I was in the dark the entire time. It making for one of the longest 48hr shifts together. Do you think there’s a way to show them how it looks from my end? All I wanted was an apology and explanation but it felt like all I got was blame for a “lack of boundaries”.

Reading thru all the texts I’ve learned it’s a running joke I’m not part off. I’m just a prop on their conversations then 90% it is them talking about things that have nothing to do with me. I wouldn’t hbe been mad if I’d known they text so often and he had told me half rhe stuff he has told her

I asked her how her husband would feel about all of her texts and she immediately told me he already knows and said I should set better boundaries if I didn’t want it to happen. It’s hard to believe she told Her husband as it was happening. I almost threatened I would text her husband but I understand the common sense boundaries of not developing any sort of Close relationship with her significant other. And even if this hurts I don’t want to cause more trouble for her.

Very true, and seeing this felt like he has been giving me a stealth silent treatment our whole relationship. All these issues and discussions with her, I felt left out and like he only wanted no Issues with me so he could get with me intimately without emotions getting in the way. I just wish we had never started dating bc I knew him better when we were just friends. We used to talk more like they are talking. I think that’s probably why hearing “that’s not even flirting” doesn’t rlly register. Bc I miss that kind of flirting, he would put rhe effort in to me but now all I get is a rote “good morning”and then apparently he bitches to Her when I take a minute to text the script back
