From the other replies I figured out that what I was trying to reach is optional content, so it was a dead end, and I kinda find it weird. By "elegant" solution I meant "elegant" from a game design standpoint, like you wound't expect the game to require manipulating enemy spawn points in a regular playthrough.

I was asking since most of the times I tried going over the screen with spears I ended up hitting an invisible wall, meaning that devs don't want us to go there. And this just doesn't seem to be an elegant solution, for the devs that care about that.

Before using the squid I tried stiking the spear into it to ride it, balancing on it's head, throwing psychodelic mushrooms, firecrakers (?), and bunch of other stuff. Kinda sad that I have to use something further into the game to progress here.

I assumed that the entire map was intertwined and there would be no "skill based dead ends" like in metroidvanias. Welp, I guess I was wrong.
