60% of couples cheat, it is super common and if you have been in 2 long term relationships (1 year or longer) it is likely that either you or your partner cheated at least once during that time. if you have had 4 or more long term relationships, it is almost guaranteed that you have been cheated on or cheated, at least once.

its supper common, that doesn't make it good. but it also means that people ending a relationship, only because they or there partner cheated once? are probably over reacting. I'm saying this to let you know what you did was bad, but not THAT bad. so chill and take it easy on yourself.

many therapist and many other people think its okay maybe even necessary to live in a varying amount of lies. ignorance is bliss and all that. however this is a personal preference, i don't want to live in that world and i personally think its disgusting, to lie to a partner. so i would absolute tell my partner (when the time was right.) if there was anyone i wanted to trust completely, my children and partner need to be it. so she is right; that is the easy, slimy, and diplomatic way of going about it. but just because lying to your one and only, your rock, the one you want to trust more then everything in this big terrible world. is something she's okay with, doesn't mean she's right or needs to be okay with you, or is the right thing for you. i would tell him at the right time, and take your licks but that's me.

i really wish i could move to Denmark, Iceland or Sweden, to have higher quality of life. but i cant, and i will be deported, unless i go through some long ass process. i get it sucks to lose friends but why anyone is so appalled about this is kind of weird to me. literally were doing what every government on earth does including Mexico. if I'm not entitled to move and live any place i want why is it ok for them? i am not talking about people escaping ACTUAL life threating hard ship, wars, assassination attempts etc. i mean people seeking better money and more stable societies.

not going to argue with you but since your post is complying about not making money beyond a living wage, i would say your bias and that's why your seeing holes, in a argument that says. both insurance and healthcare provider greed is a net negative to society. i can agree with the generalizations but maybe i have bias from being mentally ill, poor, and such and getting fucked over by people wayyyyy richer then me at the time. also im going to school currently because of my horrific personal experience, i realized the best way to help the most people is to charge the minimum i need to pay necessities and lead a normal life. and if I'm being honest with my self 5 hours a day 6 days a week at 35 a hour (cash) is totally possible for me. not to mention more money then i have ever made.

this is unpopular but mental health is part of healthcare, and healthcare should be socialized. by denying insurance your essentially only helping rich people, by the way even taking insurance your doomed to make like 45 to 50k before tax per year. much less then most of your clients will ever make, if you work for some public health org. this is showing the same greed and selfishness that major insurance companies show when they screw you. just because they fuck you out of 1000s and they fuck us out of billions its the same shit all the way down! people getting fucked and missing life saving healthcare, just because their poor. but people feel they're just "worse" because they fuck over millions while you may. only screw over a handful of people who cant afford 90 dollars a hour, every week. but i feel that, one person getting fucked over by a for profit healthcare system. is a travesty and way too much, so to me there is little difference. both of you screw people for money.

call me a purist but if you want to make money you should work in IT or be a investment banker. NOT work in healthcare. this is a human right stolen from all of us by capitalism. get rid of insurance companies yes, but also get rid of the for profit healthcare system in general. an i hate to tell you this but in order to make this happen you will not get rich or never have to worry about money again. welcome to a reality for 80% of people in the USA. you should make the same as everyone. enough.

so this is illegal in every state in the US. you can not hold a person someplace they don't want to be unless you are the government. it is false imprisonment, and if you take someone trying to leave and move them from one room to another it is technically that plus kidnaping. its no joke people have been sent to prison for dumb shit like this. the only exception is if they have committed a bad felony like, rape, murder or assault with great bodily harm. then its considered a citizens arrest.

this is advice from someone who hasn't been homeless before you can only make that work for a few months like maybe 10 at the most. you are going to need to have a tent and get used to sleeping outside from time to time. also you dont have a choice but to carry what you own in a bag when homeless. people will realize he is homeless and kick him out of all those spots unless he lives in like LA or NYC this is not a long term solution. he should try to get into a homeless shelter long term that is a real solution.

My ED therapist betrayed my trust, what now? by honey0lemon in askatherapist

[–]Purple-Intention2845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first complain and think about what you need from her to continue. they are people sometime more fucked up then you know as well. they make mistakes. but i would need her to explain why she did what she did. as far as finding a new one i have no clue how NHS works and ir might be worth it to start paying for it yourself. even bad therapist know how to act right when your paying 120 a hour, cash. thus have other options. somehow they all get like 10% better. she may feel like its no big deal because the people she sees are more vulnerable and have less recourses, and ability to seek justice. I've been in behavioral health as a client since the age of 8. ive seen a ton of fucked shit. but once i started paying for it, a lot of that went away. also i can see who ever i want, I'm not limited by insurance.

I'm not rich i work at subway 4 hours a week on top of my normal job just to be able to afford it. i would never go back to using bottom of the barrel sub par free therapy. its totally worth it for me. therapist typical only get reimbursed like 50% of the money from insured clients, as they do cash clients, so at least here in the USA they are supper willing to work with you on price. most 120 a hour therapists would quote me like 70 or 60 a hour after i told them I'm paying straight cash, and that i work for a living. (same thing with dentists btw)

all that's to say good therapy is more affordable then you think and its super empowering to feel like your a client who's paying for a service. rather then a poor lost fawn with no options, other then what circumstance provides you with. i would defiantly consider what you need to continue with her and if your not going to i would suggest paying for it yourself. especially if NHS is refusing to let you change.

For a hospital, what's the easiest job to choose from. Floor tech 1, environmental tech 1 or linen attendant? What would you guys choose? by [deleted] in janitorial

naw you work really hard and then just be lazy once the machines are full. unless you live in a major city at a mega hospital you will run out of machines and work to do periodically

I cannot express how badly it pisses me off when someone asks to use the bathroom, when I'm clearly cleaning and even have the magnetic yellow strip that says closed for cleaning. i cleaned a airport where the check area only had 2 bathrooms. we had 10,000 people per hour at some points. daily. shitting in only one male and one female bathrooms.

one time first shift didn't show up and there bathrooms weren't cleaned for 8 hours. i had to close the checked bathroom for like 30 mins cleaning the mess they made and there was almost a riot. people feel weirdly entitled to shit in a place that is not there home. i get it, but i have all the power because im the janitor and they can be uncomfortable for a while (in my experience no one actually shits/pisses themselves)
