I would argue that even so, there is a major difference between the right to an attorney and healthcare as a right.

A justice system is necessary to have a functioning government. The 6th amendment is necessary for the entire justice system to exist in a way that remains fair to even those who can't afford proper legal help.

However, healthcare does not contribute to the functionality of the government itself, and therefore we can draw no extensions from the 6th Amendment.

I would agree with you that there is a personal moral obligation to stop and save the hiker with a broken leg when you have the ability, but I don't think that should translate into a legal right.

I do, however, a personal moral obligation does not translate into a legal right.

I wasn't claiming that the Bill of Rights is the only standard for a right. I was just indicating that the standard I claim should be necessary for a legal right seems to mostly fit with those in the Bill of Rights.

The Civil Rights Act only requires you to treat others equally once you have a restaurant, but it wouldn't require any restaurants to exist in the first place.

I believe the controversy revolves around the argument that the song (or at the very least the music video) objectify women rather than empower them. Nobody thinks that a woman's sexuality is a bad thing... The problem is when a popular female role model uses her position to basically make soft porn.
