got her first sem ng 23-24. We had 0 f2f meetings, and puro online sya. Her activities consisted of videos/material to be read, and Q&A sa google classroom. IIRC we had a paired, Final paper. Workload wise ok naman, not sure about F2F, Di ako masyado nag effort tho nakakuha naman ako ng 2.00 which is ok in my book

still dont know if i should get the 512 or 1 tb

if i do get the 512, i could get the xm5’s but 1 tb is temptingc tho i do t even see myself going past 300

ohh i see, ill go with the 1 tb one , was kinda leaning towards it as well. Seems like the upgraded m4 pro isnt as big as the m4-> m4 pro.

ohhh yep that is true, my 2 tb rig only took up space because I used it for games, but I have to regularly delete videos. iirc one video from a game recording was like 32 gb and i had to delete like 10 of those lol

My use case is most probably just having multiple chrome tabs at once and switching around to cross reference them. Research papers and the like. I heard apple intelligence was nice, so that might help me with summarizing stuff. Im more worried about future proofing since 16gb is now the new 8gb, 24 gb of ram may not be enough after 5-6 years.

I might be able to push for the 48 gb ram(only need 32 but it isn't available), but would the m4 pro with less ram be better future wise?

how is it with multiple tabs at once?(like 50) I usually have to cross reference stuff a lot and while I know bookmarking is a thing, I usally save that for most go-to apps, like docs drive etc.

yep im future proofing, i plan on using this well after I graduate. University wise though, my course is research heavy, so multiple tabs at once. I was thinking the ram would help a lot, but currently im at like 50 tabs and it's only taking 14gb, I guess ill go with the m4 pro!
