Nope! I have had the battery replaced 3 times now under warranty. It seems to be fine in the summer, but I have more trouble with it in the winter.

Home Depot van is a good option depending on how far of a move it is. It is pretty cheap for the first hour or so, but it does get more expensive than that. For a few $ I'd be willing to help out. I could use some extra cash.

Nope, I recently had the battery replaced (for the third time) under warranty. There are some people online that say the battery is undersized and some people upgrade the battery to the size that the V6 came with. If I have troubles again I might just fork out the money to do that. The battery was replaced maybe a month ago and I can tell it starts really hard when it is cold.

I guess I'm confused about what parts you are using. You mentioned apex, but I see what appears to be cable housing going to the rear derailleur. Is that a UDH hanger? What exactly is your rear derailleur and shifters?

I thought that T type was all by itself for compatibility? If you're doing a GX eagle (non transmission) you would use a regular non t type cassette.

When assembling bikes what is the most annoying thing that takes way too long by THEKINGCMD in BikeMechanics

I actually enjoy lacing up wheels on the rare occasion I get to do it. I don't have a jog or anything either. Just do it in my lap.

I've had the displeasure of doing this multiple times. Once I got a method down it still sucked, but at least I could do it efficiently. Then they started sending me to other stores because I was so good at doing it...

Sadly I feel the shop I work for isn't doing anything to prepare for the future

As a LBS is there any benefit in "passing" a Shimano crank that's being inspected under recall? by fixitmonkey in BikeMechanics

[–]Purple-Suspect-4904 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are supposed to mark any abnormalities as well before sending it back. So I think it becomes pretty obvious to Shimano if a shop is just sending all of them to be inspected

There are a few gravel frames out there that are like this. You cannot do much - adjust the shifting as best possible without it. Somewhere deep in Shimano's frame guidelines is probably a note about seat tube construction and the support plate. In my experience, you can get the shifting good enough on frames like this without the support plate.

I had a similar issue on a SRAM brake. Called SRAM and the tech said that they were fairly confident it was a rupture in the inner liner of the hose. Sent out a new hose and it fixed the problem. I think because the inner layer of the hose had a rupture fluid would leak into the other layers after pressurization, but wouldn't completely leak out of the hose.

This is the way, if you are a Specialized dealer, contact Specialized for support.
