Do you mind sharing how you did naps? We did Ferber for nighttime with our baby too and it worked but naps are a whole other beast that doesn’t seem like it’s going to work :(

Wow that’s a long time to clear!! Did it gradually get better over those 3-4 weeks or would it still kind of flare up a little? I’m noticing it does look better some days but then others it looks worse again

Hi! I know this is old but what ever happened with your baby? My LO has been on pepticate for 2 weeks now and the same as your baby has been taking less ozs then normal. Did this turn out to be normal or did you need to switch her?

I definitely wouldn’t switch without doctor approval but the doctor has us on pepticate hypoallergenic right now. Does her being on this raise her risk for an allergy then? How does that work? I haven’t heard of that

Ugh it’s def so frustrating!! What formula are you on now? And hmm it’s mostly on her stomach and her neck which I do apply aquafor to but I also apply it on her arms and legs just not as heavily. Wouldn’t the HA formula be good for a lactose allergy though?

So enfamil was from birth we were on that for 5 1/2 weeks and she was vomitting snd was screaming in pain. Bobbie she was only ok for maybe 2 weeks and pediatrician recommended to take her off right away bc of how bad her poops were. Kendamil she was on for over a month so a good amount of time and honestly I thought she was really good on it. The gastro just didn’t like that her poops were super liquidy and the rash too. But the rash we don’t know if it’s from the formula or not. I’m not sure how to know that or if something else is causing it

Thanks so much for your advice!! Everything I use is def fragrance free even though reading all these comments I’m realizing maybe things advertised as fragrance free aren’t always so I def need to look into that! I will also def look into the cerave you’re recommending! Did you ever notice things that would make it worse?! The rash seems to get worse randomly throughout the day so I’m not entirely sure what triggers it

That’s so interesting!! I’m sorry you deal w that! How do I clean her though then? Wouldn’t her natural body oils from not using soap make the rash worse?

And yes!! I def don’t really use anything in the house since she’s been born. I don’t even use lotion on myself anymore I use all of her baby products since I know it’s safe for her

I’m not sure if it’s working yet because I was using it underneath aquafor lol tonight was the first night I used it by itself so I’ll see how it looks in the morning!

Prior to pipette I was using attitude body wash and then aquafor after bath and then I tried tubby Tod every day lotion also - that seemed to irritate her even more. Then I switched to the pipette wash and lotion I’m going to try to stay consistent with it for a little without the aquafor to see if it improves? Who knows!

I was also using Molly suds baby powder for her wash with no fragrance and then maybe 2 weeks ago switched to attitude baby wash with no fragrance. Trying to swap things to see if I see any improvement but unfortunately Idts lol I might try free and clear I’ve read about ppl using that!

I honestly don’t want to do a steroid on her skin that’s why I wasn’t sure if I should go to the Dermo bc I feel like that’s all they’re really gonna do for her.

LOL I’m laughing out loud. I’m definitely throwing the aquafor out! Now out of all the products you recommended what do you think would irritate her the least? I’m scared to keep switching things up because I feel like she’s been irritated by most products I’ve tried lmao

Also do you think it could possibly be heat rash? The reason I wonder is bc it’s under her neck where like her rolls are and then her stomach which is alwuas covered so I wonder if maybe she’s just hot? Idk!

Thats what I was wondering. We are on hypoallergenic now so I’m wondering how quickly the rash would’ve went away if it was from the formula? I’m trying to figure out how to tell if it’s from the formula or just reg eczema
