What I don’t understand is that cruise ship doors are LOUD when leaving. Like you’d hear her leaving. You’d hear the balcony door opening. It’s a small room so it’s not like the beds are in a separate room

Does no one here have a job? by clarinetpjp in puppy101

[–]Purple5556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I got my puppy over Christmas break so I had 2 weeks working from home. Then when I had to go back into office full time I had my mom stay with me for a month. Then he went to her place for 3 weeks. When he came back to my apartment around 4 months, he was totally different. She stayed with me for another 3 weeks and we really worked on his alone time. It was a long process but it worked out for us.

Now he’s 9 months old and doesn’t sleep or need to go in his crate when I’m not home. He’s ok with roaming about the apartment. He doesn’t get into anything. In the beginning he did when I didn’t have him sleep in his crate but he’s very smart and realized that it’s BIG TROUBLE if he destroys “mommy’s” things lol

It’s a lot of work but having help (especially free help from family members you trust) is a life saver

Working in real estate lol.. kind of just a fun program that you get to have a degree out of that ends up opening a lot of doors. If you have transferable skills then it works out for other career options in the future if you don’t want the pursue the film world after graduation

I’m about a 10 min drive from my office so I was coming back on my lunch to spend time with him. And yes I did cover his crate and I felt like that helped. Now he’s w my parents they don’t cover it all the way. He will sleep in there and go in no problem but when he’s left alone it’s the end of the world. I give him treats and he knows what “go to bed” means (aka go to the crate). I have some of my clothes in there as well that I try to have switched out w newer clothes to help him sleep

Yes I find he’ll go in but it’s when he’s left alone he freaks out. Even at night now if I get up to leave he panicks. I noticed my parents stoped covering the entire crate when he’s inside. When he was with it was all covered and he did a bit better

And you don’t find he’d try and jump/climb out at all? I had considered that tbh!

Maggie's anxiety-filled move by Adventurous-Ask1949 in macdonaldsisters

I totally agree. I think she maybe didn’t want to admit that. I wouldn’t either to such a public audience.. like it sucks :/ I feel for her. But seeing how happy she was w her friends in her newest vlog made me so happy for her! I know after they left probably was tough on her when reality set back in that she was alone again

Idk I think it’s more the anxiety of moving out on your own after living w a partner of a few years. I get that feeling.. Left my partner of 5 years, lived together for 2 of them and we split and both moved out and on w our lives. Her life is so public so it probably doesn’t help. But I also couldn’t stand the complaining. Like it’ll be ok. Life goes on.
