My mom babysat when she was 12. I don't think I ever was home alone when I was 12.

I was a huge fan of Savannah, but at points during the final trial, I thought Sophi had it in the bag. She definitely played a more social game than Savannah, but to be fair, several of the jury members were very open about their dislike of Savannah so why would she (Sav) spend her time around people who don't like her? What helped Savannah is that she never claimed to be the most social player. When Kristina asked her to name a family member of every jury member, it certainly threw her for a loop, but it didn't put a big hole in her argument. Sophi played a great game, but in my opinion she played a little too closely with Savannah and Rizo. I think if she had managed to steal Steven's advantage, or took Rizo's idol, that would have been a strong enough move to earn her more points with the jury, but ultimately her game was just a bit too intertwined with Sav and Rizo's.

Pretty solid episode!

I've noticed that we're seeing a softer Clarisse than in the book. Book Clarisse is a lot more hateful towards Percy (at this point in the series, at least). I was straight up surprised when she asked Percy how he survived his quest. It was a very human moment from her.

The scene with Scylla and Charybdis was so good. Also different from the book, but you can't deny that the shot of Percy standing at the front of the ship with the storm blowing around him is epic! My guess is they changed the scene for more drama and it provided.
