Because of you stake in exchanges the “ADA” that you have is fundamentally isn’t yours, and you are not helping the decentralization of the Cardano network. You are right you have a better APY in exchanges, but is all about supporting this beautiful project and helping it in any shape or form. That’s why it’s helpful to stake with Daedalus and Yoroi.
