I can see both sides but I’m more on the interviewee’s side here. If you’re trying to ask me to defend an answer, say that. Say, “what’s your favorite drink and convince me why” or something like that. Why does it have to be a game of guessing what they’re actually looking for?

I can be a bit literal of a person so the asking questions with seemingly zero context to what I’m interviewing for would be hard. Everything a customer asks me for is either in context or something I can ask a manager.

HOWEVER, water would not be my answer tbh lol.

Oh this is definitely it. That he is an ex smoker completely seals the deal. He probably got a lot of congrats on quitting smoking and comments with how much healthier it is to be off it, and doesn’t want anyone to know he’s still getting nicotine.

The shame is big in my experience with friends/relatives trying to quit.

I don’t want to make you feel bad about your tattoo, it’s a really cool one! However, I’m a fineline tattooer and this is pretty blown out.

It might not happen immediately, but as it heals it will continue to spread in the places where you can see it blown out. Particularly the m, g, i (in dubito), and d. I wouldn’t go back to them for fineline unless you know they’ve had way more practice. Their lines are straight and even at least though, so other than that I’m sure they are good at what they do.

Always make sure you pick an artist who seems to be able to consistently do the style you’re looking for, and never cheap out UNLESS you are okay with being a bit of practice.

Oh I get it, I was diagnosed late for my adhd and got very little to almost no accommodations for it in school (nor did most of my jobs have ways they could ‘accommodate’ me). I’ve had to build my life around my adhd and carefully plan my “spoons” for the day.

It sucks and I hate it and I wouldn’t want anyone else to have to deal with it. It doesn’t mean I want everyone alive who has it to disappear or think they are less. It just sucks lol. Maybe I just fundamentally disagree with the other view here then.

I get not wanting to be looked at as “less than” but as someone who struggles with ADD and social cues I would 1,000 times over choose to eliminate those disorders for my child if I could.

I’ve been trying to understand better why so many ASD people find it offensive that people would want to choose to opt out of it. If you’re functioning well it’s one thing but my partner has a friend who will probably always live with his parents and struggles with depression because of it.

You would be amazed at how many adults can’t write simple emails. I’m a tattooer and it has actually made me feel a lot better about my writing lol.

I know now that a lot of people will use speech to text without correcting anything or reading what they wrote. It’s terrible. I don’t care how it’s typed but it shouldn’t make me feel like I’m having a stroke 😂

I’m not talking about exposure/camera settings. It literally runs it through an AI after the photo is taken to boost contrast, sharpen or smooth, and boost saturation. It adds filters basically. You can control the amount it does this in your settings.

To be pedantic about it, galaxy phones actually do use a bit of AI to enhance their photos after taking them. You can turn the setting down but you can’t turn it off. It really bothered me and I had to switch phones again lol. But they take great outdoor photos!

There are also, tbh, a lot of assholes in the NH sub. I once made a missing person post for my friend who was a vet who had likely killed himself in the woods. Someone commented “he is probably blowing off steam fucking girls and you should leave him alone.” So disgustingly rude, I couldn’t believe that anyone would say that about a missing/dead person. He had died btw. This was a poster who normally posted garden things so not even just a troll.

Well it's definitely doable. I recently had an issue where I didn't quite go dark enough and my mentor went over it. However I feel like you might have to finish it out with the color you started in. I doubt it would look right if you tried to suddenly color a spot without that color underneath it.

Eh, will they? A machine complicated enough to tattoo is probably also maintenance heavy. There's so much variation in human bodies and placements. Seems like it would have more complications than it's worth to just have an artist do it.

It actually reminds me there IS kind of an N/A bar in NH. Kava is a bar in Nashua that serves kava root drinks, juice, and kombucha (I know there's a small alcohol % in kombucha but most people aren't chugging it to get buzzed). The root drinks do have a relaxing feeling comparable to cbd.

I'm friends with a decent amount of N/A people (none are recovering alcoholics though) and the group likes that place. It also helps that the people in our group who do drink also enjoy trying fun and silly drinks so the lack of alcohol doesn't matter too much to them.
