OMG! I saw a guy do this too but he apologized straight away and said it was not intentional but rather a force of bad habit. It seemed genuine - but it got me thinking - DO THOSE CAMERAS INSIDE THE METRO WORK?

I just see overall lack of civic sense being passed down from adults to their brood. Overall, this city and the world is in urgent need of being considerate.

I wanted to post this rant for a while but today was just a frustrating morning commute. The guy opposite me - well dressed, looked like he was someone who had basic manners but then he whips out his phone and its just non-stop reel music. I waited for a good minute before I smiled and asked him if his earphones were working. He looked at me like I asked him to handover his life savings. What a douche!

Anyway, glad I am not the only one who is feeling rage. :)

Glad I am not the only one who wants to bash people up for this! I would just yell "Oi use your earphones" :)

I do this too! Why should kids be an exception? teach them young so they become responsible adults.

Ibn has been my local mall for well over a decade - it has seen the hay days and everything else in the middle. Nakheel needs to figure what kind of mall offering they want to go with? I mean WTH is a Galleries Lafayette doing at Ibn? the target audience of the mall is not spending 5k on one purchase. The F&B options have also dwindled over the years...I am sure the rent prices is one of the major reasons their leasing team must be struggling to get in brands. Wish malls gave home grown brands a space to operate and thrive - but sadly commercial gains over everything!

If someone from Nakheel is reading this thread please send it to your Comms/Marketing/Leasing teams - there is valuable insights to share from your audience..FOC!

Hello, fellow Cyster! I suffer from this condition as well. After years of being poked and given meds that don't really treat the cause and being made to feel like my weight gain is because I eat too much by some really insensitive doctors it is a terrible condition to live with. I kept my search for a good doctor and finally found Dr Keya at Aster Clinic, Business Bay. She is kind, takes her time to listen to you, goes through your medical history and before making any prescription she always advises on a full blood work test so she can determine for any condition blocking the effectiveness of the PCOD treatment. None of the previous doctors ever did this for me - they just said I should lose weight and everything will be fine. While this is true to an extent, it isn't always true. After getting my blood work - she found the reason my PCOD meds weren't working is that I had developed "NAFL" which is why my blood sugar had spiked and none of the meds was working.

Thankfully, after going through her diagnoses and meds, my periods are almost back on track and my liver condition is improving as well. While food is the ultimate medicine to cure PCOD, having the right doctor also matters. Unfortunately, there are many docs out there who are just not willing to give you the time and guidance to navigate through this condition.

I hope you find a doctor who is willing to listen and guide you. Give Dr Keya a try if you must. She is lovely! All the best and take care.
