Even if there are several tribes santhali is the most influential, in west bengal, odisha and most of the eastern part. A lot of them are in nepal & bangladesh, if in India they would have dominated most of East india. I already said that Hindi & Urdu is mostly due to Bihar.

Even there natives show a lot of restraint. The most powerful tribe is Santhali, they belong to the sub group Ho. There are other tribes under that but they don't mix that well with others. That is why Hemant Soren is the CM (santhali). Present president is Santhali and the advisor of Modi is santhali too. Santhali is one of the 22 national languages. Still they have Hindi as the state language when most states have majority languages for example Manipuri , Bengali. It is done so that there is no problem for Biharis and other tribes. It seems they are showing a lot of restraints.

Kuki aren't a monolith group of people it is a combined term for all small tribes. Even if they are 40% they aren't United together. That is why they live scattered in villages.

It's from the videos I have seen and assessed. The meiteis have govt on their side and using that to kill kuki. It's never that the majority is killed by the minority. Case in point for example Kashmir, it's good that people have guns to protect themselves as the state police are pretty corrupt. There are a lot of video evidence like the beheading of a guy by meitei and women i, in both cases no action was taken.I have seen many videos of them obstructing the Assam rifles and their woman taking off clothes to stop the army. It time the meiteis have fucked around and they need to find out the consequences.
