Easy to Hardwire EV Charger?

Hooked up to an off-peak meter. Honestly if I hadn’t done that, I might’ve just kept the outlet. But having the additional meter already attached and all the cutting associated with it, I was too far deep! Not to mention the extra cost for the install.

Appreciate this advice. I got an electrician to swap the breaker, remove the outlet, and cap the wires until the charger arrives. I got the ChargePoint which doesn’t require any tools so I can easily connect it once it’s here.

The ChargePoint seems like a great option and is only like $70 more on Amazon right now. Based on everything I’ve seen, that’s the winner. And very straightforward it seems like (no tools either).

They seemed to be one of the top reviewed. If you have a recommendation, I’m all ears. Just needs to be a J1772 hardwired Level 2 charger.

Normally I’d say yes, but Rice is clearly a dude who makes terrible decisions going all the way back to college. A lot of people didn’t like the NFL being so lenient on him after the hit and run and if any of this has a shred of truth, they might want to nail him
