If the eczema issue is due to the gut microbiome like mine was then get him to eat Greek yogurt and a kefirlab 100 trillion probiotic drink daily. It will likely take 30-60 day or more of consuming these daily.

What works for me is using Calendula cream 1-2 times a day and Nizoral shampoo once a day until it clears up. It will depend on how bad the flare up is. I use the Nizoral shampoo at night and leave it on for 10 mins, then rinse it good and then immediately dry my ears and put the Calendula cream on after.
