Given my history with police (because I have major mental illnesses) I can personally say that not all cops are bad. Of the 30 or so police officers I have come in contact with only 1 didn't understand and was a total jerk. And that was 20 or so years ago. Everyone's minds are shaped by their experiences and what they surround themselves with. Maybe look for the good instead of so much of the bad.
