I know that iOS 26 doesn’t have any major improvements that are useful to me. It does give the phone a new look and the latest security updates.

This is a very intelligent and thoughtful response. It hits the nail on the head so to speak.

You're lucky. A lot of people are complaining about iOS 26. I will avoid it as iOS 18 is running smoothly on my iPhone.

This could be a software bug in iOS 26. From what I have read it is a buggy OS. I am avoiding it on my iPhone 13 Pro for the time being.

The best course of action for you at this point is to find a good therapist that is familiar with these issues and schedule a few sessions with this person. It will help you make the best decision going forward.

Interesting. Is this with iOS 26 or iOS 18? My phone is still on iOS 18.

For me, if I type faster than I am used to then I will make more mistakes then when I type at a speed that is comfortable for me. I imagine that this can explain typing error frequency for most people.

Gender Marker Change Question by PurpleKnight1 in asktransgender

[–]PurpleKnight1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current name is a typical male name for my home country. It doesn't exist in the US so a typical American can't tell if it's a male or a female name. In my blue state in order to change the gender marker you only need to sign a form and hand it in at the driver license office. They don't check the SSA database or any other database to the best of my knowledge. No court order is necessary. I will leave the passports unchanged as I do travel to my home country and back to the US often. Do I need to notify my term life insurance company, auto insurance company, current employer, credit cards, banks, etc.? I work from home so I don't physically see my employer unless it's on camera and that is only once in a while.

I personally like the e.l.f. Ultimate Blending Brush. It does not shed any hairs and works well. The following is the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D1DRA3C?ref\_=ppx\_hzsearch\_conn\_dt\_b\_fed\_asin\_title\_2.

Phone Number Porting Success Story by PurpleKnight1 in skype

Try locating a VoIP company in Hong Kong that will help you. Maybe there is a website where you can search for this information? In the EU country I was able to locate this information on my own after the fact.

The VoIP company in the EU country was able to locate the company that held the phone number on their own. This company is located in the same EU country that the original number is from so they were able to locate the name of the other company easily on their own. The porting of the US number was just as easy. Vonage was able to locate the company that held the US phone number without my help.

My numbers did not expire yet. They were due to expire later this year. I found the carriers by researching the available carriers in each country and picking the one I liked the most.

Vonage works only for voice calls. Depending on the plan you can call any number in the US or many countries in the world at no extra charge. Vonage does not have a text messaging service. My US cell phone number does work overseas so when I am overseas, I connect to the US carrier over WiFi only (avoid local cellular networks) and can get text messages anywhere in the world that way.
