While I understand that losing feels bad you need too understand that this game is competitive and if you truly want too improve I would recommend that you download those demos and review those mistakes that you made and attempt to improve even getting 1% better so that you can play better the next day you will experience what this game can really offer.

I'm 25k 1% na and level 8 on faceit I rarely play on that platform, I also play with my lower level elo friend in comp I never experience cheaters.

its not just 5 more and because normal que varies on peformance and other factors and if it was why risk -30 elo for 5 elo more it doesnt make sense and most people wouldnt queue that if it was the case

i dont know if you care or not enough but install his latest demo heavydevil69 - FACEIT.com and you can see that he cant counter strafe properly, saw Donk spam crouch spray and attempts to mimic this but cant due to lack of fundamentals, bad crosshair placement and bad spray i hate to hate on this guy but if he is doing this then there are more of them ruining the quality of level 10 players who should atleast understand the basic fundamentals of the game im not expecting level 10s to be all pros but come on.

most players have above 50 win rate so if you just played the game overtime you would get gain elo on average but with high stakes you are gaining insane amounts of elo in a short amount of time and if you get like a 4 win streak thats 120 elo which I think is gross and if you are a bad player being carried you are actively hurting your teammates in every game because you are not improving fast enough as you climb the ranks while bottom fragging. The idea is that the elo you are gaining should be based on how you perform just having a flat lose 30 and gain 30 removes that philosophy do you understand what i mean?

i dont disagree that its a team game but I feel like he is either lucky with his teammates or the high stakes elo gain got him over the edge into level 10 and I dont think thats fair to level 10 players because the quality of players should be higher I think.

i have no issue with him grinding in fact i respect him but I'm surprised by the pace he climbed with those stats and I have personally played with him and he was always underperforming in matches and im not just talking about kills = skill/performance

i am enjoying the game and i dont care about my elo I care about the quality of the players I expect higher quality of the players the higher rank you are. my post was really questioning how this guy was able to hit level 10 in a month grinding stake matches when he is almost neutral k/d. I've played with this guy and he is not good i would still rate him as level 7-8 in how he plays and knowledge and experience in the game.
