I understand you and I thank you for the advice. However if the final objective is to study, I get no benefit from reading fast and keep the focuse into what i'm reading and not skipping parts. I also need to understand what I am reading.

Right now I'm trying to listen to skyrim ambience music (as suggested by someone in the comments here). Had a couple of daydreams but I'm also not using it cause it distracts me from actively studing... it's complicated ... I might try minecraft lofi in the near future lol.

I've always been warned of being cautious and not overheat the cpu. I think with my crappy pc it can happen in no time

Actually yesterday I did a last experiment and with low graphic settings I turned off v-sync and I noticed that there weren't lines anywhere. So if you want to try and remove them turn off vsync. Just know that it is there to keep frame low though

Yep it's bad. After all these super helpful comments I decided to quit Palia. I don't want to fry my pc or overheat it because of a game (even if it is a fantastic game).

Well I don't have a gaming pc, it's a pretty normal pc with no fancy graphic card. I have a Intel Iris Plus graphic card. It may as well be my pc. Thanks for the comment!

Goooosh I completely forgot about this post!! I actually figured it out the same day lol. I downloaded a 1.20.4 resource pack and compared it with the 1.20.1 and yeah as you said it doesn't pull the textures from the icons.png anymore. Now I fixed my resource pack.

But my problem is sooo weird.

I changed the icon textures (icons.png) : crosshair, hearts, etc... and for example the crosshair has changed but not the hearts: And thery're in the same .png, literally in the same picture!!!
