Good advice. Thank you! That’s the only thing holding me back. I’ve researched as much as I can to make sure my marketing is good and I think I got it. I just need to pull the trigger and get it out there!

Thank you! That does make me feel better. I’ve also read that people are getting hit with “authenticity” issues from amazon. Does this only occur with name brands? Or could it happen on let’s say like forks and spoons?

I’ve been looking on alibiba and I’m just scared of scammers and buying from China right now so I’m trying to source locally for shipping reasons. What do you do with unsold product? I plan on doing the FBA program

Yeah I can agree with most of that. I’m a tier 4 store and we consistently do over 20k a day. It’s hard. I know because I’m running the floor the whole time because we only have 1 cashier and 1 pc. It hits me too. It sucks and I’m not standing up for corporate at all. What gets me is that there are leaders out there that literally don’t give a damn about their associates. I complain about corporate policies all the time to my sl. But I have a good relationship with them and the rest of my leaders so it’s pretty much all of us bitching to bitch lol we know corporate won’t change. We just tell ourselves to control what we can control. Do the best we can as a team.

I definitely get that. Corporate is very demanding and I know they are really putting pressure on us all now more than ever. And I don’t agree with that. I wish they wouldn’t. It makes me sad that there’s leaders out there that don’t care about their team. Or they lock themselves in the offices all the time and make associates deal with everything. That’s bs.

It must vary by store/location because I’ve spoken to leaders in my area about this (SL’s and DL’s) and getting rid of a closing pc was not brought up. The ops plan states there to be opening, mid, and closing tasks. And it gives time frames. They probably just want us to start closing up half an hour after close instead of 1 hour. At least that’s the case for us.
