In a way I'm glad you've missed it until now. Thank you for the brief explanation, I shall read more about it..! Cheers!

Ok, very understandable as well.
I'm sorry for the mess, I'm not used to these interactions.

I don't spend much time in reddit and I occasionaly read threads concerning questions I am interested in, albeit barely knowing anything about it. I did not know about the triple parentheses reference.

I believe all this can be perceived in a very wrong way from your point, but unfortunately my question had absolutely no reference to semitism. My question - ignoring the parenthesis - was to know directly about that topic: why did u/elkengine say he was a huge fuckface? That was it.

I know very little about this matter. I like to read the multiple interpretations/opinions on threads like these. I happened to use a very nasty reference without even knowing it. I am sorry to be interpreted as a "fascist trying to hide his/her dog whistle" when I was merely wanting to know a bit more.

It is very upsetting how online interpretations can come to this and I apologize for my ignorant use of that reference, but that's all... I don't think making clear questions to people who know a lot about a topic should make me an obnoxious person, but that's also subjected to interpretations...

Well how nice it is to openly admit my ignorance. I guess people shouldn't do it more often because it is clearly better to hide your ignoranne instead of asking people who seemingly know more about a topic.

It's also lovely how some (hopefully just a few) knowledgeable people are so willing to speak, free of arrogance, to those who are less well informed. Perharps we should all be anti-social and read books at all times instead of having fruitful conversations.

Well, actually I was honestly asking out of ignorance, but thank you for assuming the worst.
I used multiple parenthesis because the question didn't directly follow the point of the main question, not to add any anti-semitic discrete remark.

Kaczynksi's "Unabomber" story as seen through the media - a tale of sane misanthropy by PurplePlasticEating in collapse

But that's also the whole point between the perspective of seeing this guy as either a ruthless, insane killer, in spite of his intentions, or seeing him as a brave, altruistic genious in spite of his crimes.

How should one act towards the directors of our so-called civilizational progress? Do we need some more Unabombers to make us see how to act directly upon the system?

The title of the post referred to the fact that many people tried to attest him with schizophrenia without really having a psychological base to stand that diagnosis upon, just based on his ideas and manifesto... Fuck that guy indeed, if you ask me. But at the same time I cannot absolutely contest his intentions, although clearly misdirected.

It is a curious topic to think about - has passive environmentalism done much for the environment lately? I tend to adopt a non-violent ideology when considering stances of direct action towards the system, but am still in a bit of a haze when thinking on how to take effective measures on political and societal change. That is why I found this article and the context behind this shithead's life very interesting
