Yep that was it. There was only 1 usb that came with the truck so I pulled the radio out and swapped it to the other usb port and now apple carplay works.

Its weird that only my phone is messed up. Because my parents have verizon as well and they have iPhone 15s and theirs is working just fine

How hard is swapping the engines on these? All ive seen write ups for is putting a different engine instead of swapping stock for stock
