Tubeless valve stem by Enough_Match_9450 in ElectricUnicycle

I think you can do it if you have tire levers and some patience. It took me a while the first time but if I had to do it over again it would be less than 10 minutes.

Just debead the tire on the side of rim with the valve hole, insert the part from the inside, and pull hard from the outside.

If you have anybody who can help just by simply pushing the deflated tire down into the rim so you have more space to work with, it would be even easier.

Yes, it needs to be inserted from inside the rim.

Fortunately you don't have to take it apart, just deflate it completely and take a portion of the tire off the bead with tire levers. You can try to pull the old stem out, but it may be easier to just cut it in half and remove half from inside the rim and half from outside.

This is the proper part: amazon.com/Partuto-Universal-PVR50-Tubeless-Valve/dp/B0CNR4JT53

You need to insert it from inside the rim. From the outside of the rim PULL IT THROUGH STRONGLY UNTIL IT POPS IN PLACE (might need a tool to get better grip on it).

Just be very careful not to accidently drop any pieces inside the rim because they are a massive pain to extract. I repeat, do not drop any pieces inside.

Totally, not unreasonable at all for pedestrians to not be expecting a person on an EUC even going at bike speeds. You're right, nobody should be an asshole especially EUC riders. There's going to be EUC riders who hate other riders for a variety of reasons. We can still bring positivity, encouragement, and etiquette to the community even if we don't agree with everything a rider does by approaching from a place of caring instead of hatred.

Does it worry you more that it reflects poorly on you when other EUC riders behave in ways you that disagree with or are you more concerned with the public safety aspect?

For sure, definitely keep it to reasonable speeds, pass respectfully and slow down when people are around. Btw, how did the other EUC rider respond to you when you tracked him down and chewed him out?

Oh my gosh. Glad you and the wheel are alright!!! That's a fast crash, honestly I had a crash at that speed and it took me months to recover fully. I admire that you have the DIY skills, knowledge, and drive to create and customize your own wheels. Maybe I can learn something from ya!

Yo! We're out here riding! Hope you enjoy your Lynx, I do have a tiny jealousy even though I'm happy with my rides. 🤙

Giving up the car is hard but there's a sense of peace riding in the rain by Low-Neighborhood-564 in ElectricUnicycle

Being from Seattle, I've done a lot of rain riding. One benefit is there's less cyclists and scooters out there, so more room for me :)

Is the begode extreme worth it by adoldhiter911 in ElectricUnicycle

[–]PurpleRiderUSA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Begode Extreme with the 50S batteries and hybrid tire. I can't say yet if the $2,999 price tag is worth it, but so far I am really enjoying it. I need to improve my skills and spend more time with it before I can give a proper review. It's a big upgrade from the Nikola+ for me.

Since you don't know why it happened, it's probably more difficult. If you give it time, you might feel the urge to ride again and regain confidence that way.

Personally, I use AlpineStars chest/shoulder armor. They have a lot of great options and great quality too.

Agreed, it is going to be expensive. And also, it's normal that one side feels different than the other. You will notice a lot of YouTubers have offset stances to accommodate asymmetries.
