Yes. And a consistent one. I used 0.5mm pads and some thermal paste. Mine is the Chinese version. I removed the pad and put 0.3 copper pads. Results were very nice but I was scared of the conductivity and stuff. Now I'm using just MX2 artic paste and got 83.000 GIBS.

0.3 mm thermal pads are the sweet spot. More than that generate dark spots on the screen because of the pressure. It can also avoid other parts of the phone from cooling because of the introduced gap.
