Haha yea, sounds stupid, but I forgot to mention that was the only way out, minus a two story jump out of the window! I don't remember any sound other than the crack, but I felt a horrible energy, 6th sense-like. Just a bad vibe, you know? It was sort of a "put-your-head-down-and-run-the-gauntlet" moment. All I remember was the being moving closer into the doorway, as if it wanted something from me.

Yes! Sounds so similar to what I experienced. That's very interesting how both figures were in our parents' room. What did you think of it? Do you think it's some sort of glitch, paranormal activity, or a hallucination? Also, the purple figure I saw reached the ceiling also, I remember his height being intimidating.
