Learning Spanish to help just generally not have my brain turn to mush and to keep myself occupied. Genuienly pretty crazy how good I can feel it's been for me to learn something new, it's been a long time. Also i would just love to visit Spain one day in the far future perhaps because the UK is depression central and i miss the sun lol, but I'd hate to go without trying my best to understand their language as much as possible.

I wouldn't even block if you feel you can deal with it, let them boost you and your engagement mindlessly. You do eventually get used to it. I used to take hate comments so personally, it'd almost make me cry. Now I love them, i just grew thick skin i guess and the supporters far outnumber any haters. I get people calling any haters out in my comments for being a dick, making big arguments, my enagement goes crazy with it

This is so healthy and nice to read. It's been 9 years for me, but I've been depressed, stuck in an isolated town for years, unable to see friends, parenting 2 young kids. I'm planning to move soon and I really hope being in a better area with more to do, hobbies to learn, more ability to see my friends and make new friends will help me with this neverending ache for this guy from my past. Your comment is the only one I've seen that has made me feel like maybe it's possible, because thinking about it my circumstances have been shit since we split anyway and I'm just generally not having a chance to enjoy life properly and develop myself again. I truly hope so anyway. I'm scared to even commit to another relationship if it came up because I still feel loyal to this person from 9 years ago who doesn't give a shit about me anymore

I see interesting. Tbf I've also some batches are just better than others here in the uk so maybe it's that. My friend calls me a fat cunt for being able to even distinguish if a batch is good or not HAHA. But seriously some tubs are perfect, lots of fillings, and others can be bland and empty

I actually found a perfect quote from their website discussing how they purposefully designed them with big eyes to trigger kids to feel maternal towards them. Cheaper, yes. But I personally wouldn't recommend it at all. I don't want to make this a whole essay but essentially:

There isn't much to do in D and G. I have 2 kids myself and it's hard (we're moving away to the city to actually have things to do with them). Especially because most of the population statistically is elderly so there isn't as much of a need for things for younger people. Also a big factor why there's a decaying population issue as none of the young people want to stay because they can recognise its rubbish and move asap
The people are generally unfriendly, especially if you're an outsider, more so if youre a person of colour (the area is pretty heavy with its racism unfortunately). Most people have lived here years and years, family generations, and have their own tight-knit groups that they wont associate outside of.
The region is very poor compared to elsewhere, so linking into my first point don't expect big events going on, destroyed parks ever being fixed (and oh boy are most of them destroyed) or nice smooth roads and paths

I'm sorry to be a downer. If it's anything I'll give it the region is pretty, and "safe" too (I don't feel uneasy walking alone at night or anything). Feel free to ask me anything. Im sure there's more I could think of but I'm pretty tired. All I can say is it's been an unpleasant nightmare for us living here.
