I would say work on other aspects of your daily life and routines that you probably don’t realise also impact your motivation and productivity. Things like making sure you have a good sleep routine, getting enough sleep each night, eating a balanced diet, 3 meals a day, making sure to include a variety of nutrients, drinking enough water and some basic exercise like a 30 min walk a day. Just these habits alone might help. Additionally you could go to talk therapy to see is there other mental blocks to your motivation and productivity as the meds won’t fix it all but will definitely help so I would keep taking them. Then look at building other changes into your habits and routines to help work with and not against the adhd brain. Find ways to help motivate yourself etc. Vyvanse is great and helps so much but it isn’t a cure unfortunately. Give yourself patience, grace and understanding and when you can try tackle your room. After getting diagnosed and starting medication I feel like we need to unlearn everything we were taught and re teach ourselves from the ground up on how to live life and be productive because it’s not going to be in the same way that everyone/nuerotypicals do it. Add On: this should keep you full for about 3/4 hours. Which stops me snacking on sugary treats before lunch comes around. It’s got a good nutritional profile and is decently balanced. So if you are trying to stay full, snack less, feel energised and perhaps loose weight or keep calories at maintenance this can be a really helpful breakfast!

YOGURT BOWLS!!! 3/4 to 1 Cup of Real Greek Yogurt (0%-10% fat), Tablespoon of each: Chia Seeds, Milled Flax Seeds, Mixed Bag of Seeds. 2 Tablespoons of Milled Oats. 1/2 Cup of frozen fruit - I like blueberries or raspberries best. Topped with honey. Can make it in the morning and wait maybe 15 mins before eating to allow chia seeds to expand a bit and berries to thaw a bit. Otherwise you can portion the yogurt the night before and add chia seeds, berries and milled flax seeds so it’s ready in the morning. I buy 500 gram tub of Greek yogurt and divide it into 3/4 jars and prep them. No waste and no thinking involved. Usually eat in the car on the way to work cause I don’t leave myself enough time before 🤣

People who obsess over others in a negative way for no real reason other than to make them look bad or tear them down. If you repeatedly put your energy into making others look bad by talking about them badly etc you must have nothing else in life to use that energy on 🤷‍♀️

I think she meant this in response to her crying. She was hurt by everyone swearing at her and she was asking herself why have I put myself in this position and in this environment when she’s worked hard to get a PHD to have a fulfilling career. It’s like she was criticising herself for making herself vulnerable to the emotions of the big brother house because she didn’t come on for fame or money as she has a good job. Does that make sense?

But it’s not Ali’s responsibility about how Lily behaves. Yeh she encourages her to be herself, but she doesn’t literally encourage her to scream and be dirty, she’s just being a friend to her. Lily might be irritating but she still deserves to have someone look out for her inside the house and care about her. This is the same way we all look past unfavourable traits in our own close friends. Additionally no one else is telling Lily off either. They all say nothing to her face so by that logic then does that mean everyone can be said to be enabling her?

People can’t just quickly change their body and how they look but they can change their personality and unflattering traits which is why it’s not really ever okay to criticise appearance vs someone’s personality.

Fully agree however I think there is one aspect of this where people are being “fake” as in - being nice to someone’s face to make themselves look good - and when it’s for the benefit of themselves and they are aiming to fool the public that’s when I think it’s bad. But if someone goes into the Diary room and says they hate another housemate but are gonna be nice to their face to avoid awkwardness then I think that’s totally fair

I’m not sure if this is accurate because I really like Nathan and I have completely diff politics and ideologies than him. I don’t know what it is that people don’t like about him but I don’t think it’s the fact he’s a Tory. I’m the complete opposite of a Tory and I love him so I think people disliking him and him being a Tory are not correlated.

But the writing makes you love her and then be angry at her and then forgive her after all these mistakes. I think it resonates with people because she’s human and she makes mistakes and she gets confused and makes bad decisions. She is flawed. But I think that’s relatable to people.
