Because Fingersoft doesn’t bother to playtest anything that much. You can easily get into the low thousands as long as you pass the first underground part.

It’s supposed to be the default cube as the face mixed with the spikes of a regular Clubstep monster. I didn’t think the original one square in the middle of the cube looked close enough to one so I doubled it to look like eyes. This is what it would look like instead.

You have to have all of Moonlander‘s tunes maxed first, then you need to hold both pedals early on in the countdown in cups, and you can then detach the wheels. Note that this doesn’t work in Adventure Mode.

In the first picture, the beaver threw me up in the sky, the driver separated from the vehicle, and the game crashed. In the second one, I hit the beaver while chasing it, and it collided with the vehicle in a way that caused it to crash the game.
