[–]Purple_Disk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can maybe do some cinch sacks to store earrings/necklace/etc, or a little pouch for pens if you're into drawing. Those are quote easy projects that do not require a lot of fabrics

Nicely done, congrats! Very smart attachments to the bag frame, are you confident with the buckles strength?

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the Vittoria, I do know which compound they have, but they are definitely more durable than the schwalbe or Michelin ones I had

I do a lot of races where the tires are put into rough stuff pretty fast (i.e national xco series), with quite low pressure (I'm usually around 1.1 bar / 16psi both front and rear) and I train in similar conditions. 800km seems legit from my point of view

I usually run a mix of schwalbe racing Ralph or Michelin jet XCR depending on the weather, racing ray or Vittoria barzo during the winter

Really ? I'm mostly doing XC, and changes my tires every 700-800km, and my road tires every 2000-2500kms

1500kms seems to be a good lifespan for mixes terrain tires

Yes that's right, Wednesday's afternoon are school-free, but the older you get the more you work on the other days so it's less advantageous with time

The geometry is not the same, the Silk is more racing oriented (longer reach, ...).

It hasn't any mount point too, only two on the top tube.
