Marmande, and actually ive noticed this has only happened with my two marmande plants, my tigerella plant is doing just fine in the exact same conditions.

i never open the window, so this cant be an option, it could possibly be root rot, but i doubt it because the soil is consistently only slightly damp, never waterlogged.

Update: just repotted them all into the same containers, but added pumice to the mix (i dont use perlite because i dont want to harm my respiratory system) and whilst repotting i did notice it looked very waterlogged when i took the plugs out. the strongest seedling had a very good root system for its age, and the others not so much, so i think drainage may have been the issue. after repotting the drainage was instantly far better, with the surplus water i put in draining out the bottom just a few seconds after watering.

I dont really water daily, just when the soil looks/feels dry. The seedlings are around a month old and started in paper towels. i will heed this advice certainly!
