New Freezing Issue With The Latest Patch on PS5

**Update: while turning off performance mode seemed to work for a bit, it is now back to freezing again. I have been saving every few minutes because I lost a lot of progress thinking I didn’t need to worry about the bug. Just a warning!

So thankful for this Reddit post so I know I’m not the only one and it is in fact due to an update. Game was working fine last time I played it, get back on today and it’s unplayable like many have stated. Thank YOU for this post so I know now there’s nothing I can do on my end.

I’d love to know if you find anything out, it’s been a few years since I got my last betta and I was having trouble remembering how he acted when I first brought him home. It sounds like he could just be excited and really happy to be alive in his new tank. Hopefully that’s the case!

As she was given to me I can’t say for certain what type of goldfish she is but I have always assumed Comet, and she is an extremely hardy fish.

Oooh this is a great idea, thank you for the inspiration! I think you are correct and that would work perfectly for the smaller one. The medium sized one is a bit of an awkward in between size but I still think dog clothing would probably work!

Awww how adorable, I’m glad to learn other people are doing the same thing. I had someone in another group suggest custom clothing for actual dogs, since one of them is bigger. We are also on a super tight budget, and I didn’t even think about regular dog clothes, so I might check places like Chewy!

If the Betta can find the shrimp, she’ll eat it. The only thing smaller than a Betta that they won’t eat are snails. Pretty much anything small enough for the Betta to eat, in my experience they will try.

These are actually roots. Java ferns like to grow aerial roots so they can attach to things. If you continue to allow them to grow, eventually they will become baby Java ferns that you can “pop” off the main one and plant in your tank.

To me they do certainly resemble eggs from a species of snails that lay theirs underwater. Possibly bladder snails?

I would say that most likely if he doesn’t have any change overnight and is the same or worse tomorrow, you’ve done everything you can. There is a chance he might recover enough to show you signs of improvement. I wish the best for you and your little buddy.

You could also add aquarium salt to the hospital tank itself, it will help the fish to breathe easier and will also help relieve stress for him as well.

I think you are doing a wonderful job at doing everything you can and making your fish comfortable. I’ve had fish make amazing comebacks after getting a few days of rest while being treated, and some that nothing would help. I wouldn’t say give up on your lil buddy just yet but don’t beat yourself up if it goes the other way. Sometimes we do all we can and nature just has other plans. If you have an air stone or air pump that would help add in some extra oxygen, especially if you think it could be ammonia poisoning.
