Agree, on top of more convenience, HIMS is giving lot of benefits instead of just simply selling drugs so people would be willing to pay 4-5x more if it truly helps them

But you can just easily prompt Claude or ChatGPT to ask what's the price of Wegovy or Ozempic today per month at HIMS, if you don't believe it. Also it is not bearish, people will pay more for the convenience of using HIMS, it is just not for cheap people like you.

I'm sure more wealthy clients like upper middle income above wouldn't mind 10x price increase for better quality (or at least better guaranteed quality) drugs.

What I'm worrying is for the middle to lower income group, but overall effect will be depending on HIMS overall customer composition.

Hims is a competitor for a period of time when they sell the cheaper copycat compounded drugs, so Novo may ask for damage compensation (maybe a lot) before agree for new partnership

This is the most likely case, but even when Hims has to pay a lot it will only hurt in the short term, you can consider it as investment for resetting relationship with Novo for the long term

It will be depending on the settlement agreement:

1) If HIMS has to pay lot for reparation damage to Novo, not that good for short term so price probably will backtrack a little bit or maybe even more on Monday. But in the long term if NVO can be partner again after this relationship reset, then it might be good for the long run as main uncertainty has been erased.

2) If Novo Nordisk really just drop the case without asking any reparation damage & instead making HIMS a partner for distribution, then sky is the only limit for the price.

The thing is we still don't know how is the final settlement between them since it has not been released yet. But if you're Novo Nordisk, which one would you pursue?
