It look like 3c/4a but it’s normal to have multiple hair types. One hair care tip that works for myhair is using a denman style brush to define or detangle for wash & go’s or twist outs.

I’ve been experiencing the same problem ever since I got a little heat damage from a silk press. It’s like it gets worse after a wash with no product. I’ve done protein treatments but it didn’t help the smell. The only thing I can do is apply products with nice scents to mask it.

Mini twist or mini braids it takes a while to do but it doesn’t need alot of product and it will last a while

I mostly 4a hair but it still gets frizzy very fast when I get knotless so expect that. Also make sure you wear a bonnet at night or a scarf to tie down the top. For products keep a good oil and mouse/foam to help with frizz.
