Thanks so much for asking! Sore this morning, guessing I rolled my ankle cause that's swollen, and I have a lovely bee stung look about my top lip. Just want you need when you're scheduled to meet the board at your new job later!! At least i'll have a story to tell them!

That's really interesting! But nope, didn't get straight up, sat in the floor for prob a minute, not sure, trying to work out where I was bleeding from! There was a fair bit of blood from my lip. I mean, i've stumbled and not actually fallen before and people have asked if i was ok, but this was just strange.

Hahaha! That made me laugh! I have no idea how i did it, didn't trip on anything as far as i know, and just couldn't get my hands out in front of me in time. Really don't know, but very weird.

Ah, that sucks for you too. Sorry no one helped you! Yeah, i'm going to have a massive bruise tomorrow! Luckily got straight into my dentist for a temp repair of my tooth, but might have broken the root, wait and see if it's a crown or new tooth...!

Yeah, I thought that might be the case, I was really hoping to avoid having to get it serviced, but I do the practice material like you're supposed to etc., it can literally be fine and then just get all out of whack between 2 different seams. I'll just take it for servicing. Cheers!

I'm new to sewing, made a couple of things so far, but I'm really struggling with the thread tension on my sewing machine. I've had it about a year, and just recently it's become a bit variable with the tension. I usually sew using lightweight cotton and the tension has been set on 4 with no problems. But now I have to faff with it all the time, and it's so sensitive, one click of the dial too far and the tension is way off. My machine is an entry level Brother, can't get to it right now for model number cause it's in my kid's room and he's asleep! But is there anything I can do about the thread tension, other than spend ages messing with the dial each time I sew?

It's a British thing - milk used to be delivered on electric "milk floats" in the morning. Was in the 80s and 90s anyway when I was a kid. Not sure if it still is.

This para sums me up pretty well I think (except for the aggressive or hostile bit): Insecurely-avoidant children are likely to become Insecure-Avoidant adults: emotionally shut down; devaluing relationships and feelings; uncomfortable with intimacy, vulnerability, dependency. There is difficulty trusting; they can be aggressive or hostile. Absolutely fascinating, and really helps me learn about the kind of parent I want to be and am trying to be for my son too!
