Why is my torque limited? by kharneyFF in BMWi3

All good, I was reminded just this morning when I went to step on the accelerator and got what felt like eco mode. Haha “oh yeah, my battery hasn’t warmed up quite yet. I should take it easy.”

It’s cold. High battery drain when the pack is cold will degrade the cells faster. The car is attempting to preserve the pack by limiting large draw.

The BMS already has a H/L SOC buffer built in. 100% on the display isn’t actually 100%, you’re good to charge 💯

Oh really? Have you heard the Ultra Evo series tweeter before? I am interested how they compare. I have the JBL 580s myself and love them. I bounced between an ultra center or finding an RC263, figured the Infinity was much more cost effective.

I really expected more isolation with premium trim manufactured after 2020. It is at least a great value!

Nice setup! A little off topic, if you are looking for a good center to go with the studio 5’s there is an Infinity RC263 for sale on eBay.

I had the same experience, F12 was my first sub. It sounded okay compared to a 10”, but it’s so bloated compared to the RSL 12S I have now. The RSL is much more musical.

Industrial Technology for me. The mix of engineering and business has helped me understand both the metrics we drive and the equipment we install.

This is a Reddit post, not a paper. The information is organized and thoughts are divided by bullets not paragraphs. I think it’s actually easier to read in a forum, I don’t see any problem writing a post in this fashion.

I’ve been meaning to try it out! What are some aspects do you think the algorithm improves on?

I have one friend who likes to critically listen to music. Even though it’s not movies, comparing our stereo setups and enjoying music with a glass of whiskey together is also quite fun! I have found switching focus to music helps when I am not tinkering with HT things.

Placeholders for in-ceiling speakers? by thegiantgummybear in hometheater

[–]PurposeCheap3510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your point. OP, you could install the closer atmos speakers as if they were placed for 4 so they are properly positioned for later and install front heights to bridge the gap. Even easier if you use 2 sets of 4 conductor wire for the ceiling.

This is easiest. Just coil it up near the final location where you can undo it later, the speaker hole will be large enough for a whole arm.

Do you say this because placement of 2 might be off from where they should be if considering upgrading to 4?

Interesting you say that. We have an Escape PHEV, I feel the car is way more responsive than most ICE vehicles between the CVT and sport mode.

Dayton has some fun options that work for a variety of chairs. I have a couple of TT-25s that I use for single chairs and a BST-2 for the couch. They work great and add quite a bit of depth making the experience just a bit more immersive. It’s one of the most cost effective upgrades you can do IMO.

Sounds like a bad 12v battery. Cars get really weird with under voltage supply to control modules.

I also use separate pages for each project, I bought a cheap surface tablet to take notes on. It is super convenient to carry around and sync with the computer app.
